Community Home Visits

Physio HQ has two locations: a Sheffield clinic and a community home visit service. The practice provides physiotherapy for musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, lower back pain, neck pain, lower limb rehabilitation, arthritis-related conditions, and rehabilitation after total hip and knee replacements.

Its services include physiotherapy, sports injury rehabilitation, acupuncture, sports massage, shockwave therapy and gait analysis. Acupuncture and taping are included within its physiotherapy treatment costs, where used as part of treatment.

The physiotherapy team is made up of Anthony Meehan and Claire Meehan, both Chartered Physiotherapists. Their stated clinical areas include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports-related injuries, running injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, gait analysis, lower back pain, neck pain, lower limb rehabilitation, arthritis management, and rehabilitation after hip and knee replacement surgery.

Care can be provided in person at the Sheffield clinic, through home visit initial and follow-up appointments, and by Zoom or telephone physiotherapy appointments. Sports massage appointments and shockwave therapy packages are also available.

At an initial consultation, Physio HQ takes a medical and physical assessment, explains the diagnosis, and may begin treatment the same day. Treatment options described by the practice include hands-on manual therapy, soft tissue massage, taping and acupuncture, with exercise programmes stored and updated through Physitrack.
