Miss Cat Edney

Miss Cat Edney helps patients with dental hygiene care, gum disease treatment, fillings and tooth whitening. Her special interests include investigating, diagnosing and treating periodontal disease, including root surface debridement under local anaesthesia, and preventing dental caries with diet advice, fissure sealants and fluoride varnish applications.

She also provides care for erosion and dentinal hypersensitivity, composite fillings, restorative and preventative dentistry, and tooth whitening, including home whitening and ICON. Her approach includes personalised oral hygiene advice and support for dental anxiety and phobia through acclimatisation and behavioural techniques.

Miss Edney qualified from King’s College London in 2008 with distinction in dental hygiene and dental therapy. She has also lectured nationally as a clinical educator and developed hands-on dental courses under The Modern Therapist.
