Pocklington Podiatry

Pocklington Podiatry has two clinics, in York and Brough. It provides podiatry care for foot, ankle and lower-limb conditions across the East Riding of Yorkshire, with services for all ages.

Care covers podiatry skin and nails, foot and ankle pains, nail surgery, orthotic therapy, Swift verruca treatment and toenail reconstruction. The practice also offers biomechanical assessment with pressure plate, biomechanics follow-up, fungal nail consultation and diagnosis, nail surgery assessment, Swift microwave therapy, and verruca assessment and treatment.

Conditions and clinical areas named by the practice include skin and nail disorders, ingrown toenails, verrucas, foot deformities, sports injuries, high risk and diabetic foot, and arthritis. It also lists minor surgery, medical imaging of the foot and ankle, steroid injections and specialist onward referrals.

Swift microwave therapy is available for verrucas and warts. The treatment uses microwave energy applied through a probe to the affected tissue, with a course of sessions usually recommended according to the patient’s needs.

The podiatrist is HCPC registered and has over 10 years’ experience across the NHS, private practice and overseas clinics. The practice is registered with the Royal College of Podiatry.
