Range of Motion Osteopathy

Follow Up appointment and treatment is for returning patients who need further osteopathic treatment after their first assessment. Range of Motion Osteopathy provides osteopathic and sports injury care in Verwood, including general osteopathic treatment, cranial osteopathy, cranial osteopathy for babies and children, sports injury treatment and rehabilitation, sports massage, and injury prevention work.

Initial consultation and treatment includes taking a case history, carrying out an assessment and advising on required treatment. General osteopathic treatment uses hands-on assessment of areas of tension and loss of joint mobility, with treatment approaches that include joint manipulation, soft tissue stretching and massage techniques.

Cranial osteopathy is offered for stresses and tensions throughout the body, including the head. Cranial treatment is available for all ages, including babies and children.

Sports injury treatment covers problems such as pulled muscles and strained ligaments, with rehabilitation planning where needed. Sports massage may be used if it is the most appropriate treatment. Injury prevention appointments focus on recurrent injury patterns, exercise build-up and possible muscle or structural imbalance. Bespoke packages are available for sport and small businesses.

Diane Korsten graduated from the College of Osteopaths in 2016. Her background includes fitness instruction, sports massage, personal training and Pilates instruction. Her clinical work includes acute and chronic musculoskeletal complaints linked to causes such as poor desk posture and sporting trauma, and she has a particular interest in cranial osteopathy.
