Ray Chan Chiropractor treats back pain, neck pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, elbow and wrist pain, hip and knee pain, foot and ankle pain, headaches, migraines, minor sports injuries, muscle spasms and cramps in Trowbridge.

Ray Chan is a registered chiropractor. Care is focused on muscles, joints and nerves. Chiropractic treatment may include manipulation and mobilisation of joints, soft tissue work, and advice on self-management. Ray may also advise on supplements where relevant to care.

The clinic also provides western medical acupuncture. This is offered as a therapeutic approach adapted from Chinese acupuncture, using current knowledge of anatomy and physiology. New patients need an initial consultation before chiropractic treatment or acupuncture.

At a first consultation, Ray takes a history of the complaint, medical history and lifestyle, and discusses the patient’s goals. He then goes through the likely underlying cause of the presenting complaint and, if suitable, treatment options. The consultation may include a first treatment where appropriate. If he is unable to help, he says he will refer the patient to someone who can.

All consultations and treatments take place in a private treatment room, with Ray as the regular practitioner. Patients may bring someone with them if they need assistance. The clinic is just outside the centre, with free customer parking available.
