Rekinect Health

Rekinect Health is for people with musculoskeletal pain, stiffness, sports injuries and longer-term niggles. It provides chiropractic care, massage therapy and clinician-led Pilates. Care is delivered at Train CrossFit Heald Green and Heald Green Methodist Church, Cheadle.

Care combines hands-on treatment with movement-based rehabilitation. Plans may include graded movement, exercise rehabilitation and practical lifestyle adjustments. The team looks at work, training, body loading and sleep during assessment. First appointments include symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, goals, and checks of movement, strength and joint function.

Chiropractic care covers joint and spinal problems, acute pain and chronic conditions. Treatment may include joint manipulation, exercise and rehab, where appropriate. Massage therapy works on muscles, ligaments and tendons. It is used for muscle tension and to support exercise-based recovery plans.

Clinical Pilates focuses on strength, stability and control after pain or injury. Pilates is offered as one-to-one sessions and small group classes. Programmes are designed around the strength and control needed to maintain recovery.

Stated clinical interests across the team include instability, headaches, sports injuries and conditioning for active people. The massage service also addresses tight hips, shoulders, neck pain and postural tension linked with desk-based work.

New patients do not need a referral. The practice may guide patients towards another clinician if further investigation or specialist care is needed. Some services may be covered by private health insurance, depending on provider and policy. The clinic has on-site parking, step-free access and lift access to the clinic floor.
