Richard Denny at Mindful Resilience
About Richard Denny at Mindful Resilience
Richard Denny at Mindful Resilience provides EMDR-based care for PTSD, trauma and early addiction recovery. The clinical focus includes complex trauma, developmental trauma disorder and other trauma-related conditions. Other stated problems include phobias, panic attacks, addiction relapse, stress, chronic pain and enduring anxiety.
Treatment options include EMDR, mindfulness practice, breath and bodywork, ketamine assisted EMDR and biofeedback. Personal resilience, self-care and emotional self-regulation are part of the approach.
Care is based in Fulham, London. Sessions are offered one-to-one, online and through home visits. The practice also offers intensive weekend programmes and small, regular assessment groups.
Biofeedback uses heart rate variability, or HRV, to assess autonomic nervous system balance. It also monitors sleep stages, sleep duration and sleep quality. Mindful Resilience uses this to track nervous system responses to environment, emotions, thoughts and feelings.
Microbiotic feedback includes clinical microbiome testing, such as GI-MAP, GI Effects or Healthpath Biovis Gut Testing. These tests are used to understand the gut environment and support the gastrointestinal system.
Genetic feedback may use whole genome sequencing or patented chip arrays. Genetic testing is not diagnostic for mental health conditions. It highlights predisposition and can inform personalised support plans.
