Sally Talbot Acupuncture

Sally Talbot Acupuncture provides Five Element Acupuncture in Stone, with care tailored to individual health concerns and overall wellbeing. Treatments may include acupuncture with Gua Sha, moxibustion, cupping and Tuina massage where appropriate. Cupping and Gua Sha are also offered separately from acupuncture treatment.

Five Element Acupuncture is based on the traditional Chinese medicine understanding of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Sally uses this approach to consider the person as a whole, including physical, emotional and spiritual aspects, rather than focusing only on a single symptom.

Gua Sha involves gently scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool and is used to support circulation and areas of tension. Moxibustion uses warmed mugwort on specific points of the body. Cupping uses cups placed on the skin to create gentle suction, traditionally used to support circulation, ease areas of tension and encourage relaxation.

Sally Talbot is a traditional acupuncturist with a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture from The Acupuncture Academy, a three-year degree-level qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board. She graduated with distinction and was highly commended for her clinical work. She is a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council and holds the LicAc and MBAcC titles.

The clinic is licensed by Stafford Borough Council. Sally states that she follows the British Acupuncture Council Codes of Safe Practice and Professional Conduct, holds medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance, and undertakes continuing professional development.

The clinic is based at The Ishta Centre. The clinic room is on the first floor, and free parking is available at the rear.
