Mr Alan Reed

Mr Alan Reed treats chronic conditions, neck and low back pain, work strains and postural complaints. His stated specialism is frozen shoulder, also called adhesive capsulitis, and he has undertaken advanced training in the Niel Asher Frozen Shoulder technique. He also has an interest in treating people with osteoarthritis and is an Associated Practitioner with Arthritis Action.

Alan is a fully qualified practitioner in medical acupuncture, which may be used alongside osteopathic techniques or as a stand alone treatment. He has also completed postgraduate training in visceral osteopathy, kinesiology and sports taping, and Clinical Pilates at matwork level 3.

His occupational osteopathy experience includes teaching manual handling, train the trainer courses and risk assessment across sectors including logistics, manufacturing, schools, hospitals and the care sector.
