Pregnancy and postnatal care are part of the osteopathic work described by the clinic, including assessment of the postural and body changes that happen during pregnancy and checks after delivery. You do not need a doctor’s referral to see an osteopath. If an assessment suggests signs of a more serious illness or injury, this can be discussed with you and, with your consent, the osteopath may write to your GP.
