SLM GP

SLM GP is for adults and children who want private GP appointments in Liverpool for single concerns, longer-term health issues or more complex problems. The practice gives examples such as a chest infection, a child with a temperature, or a long-term health issue that needs discussion.

GP appointments can be provided face to face or as remote consultations, depending on what you need. The practice says it would usually prefer to see patients face to face, while recognising that this may not always be possible.

Health checks and screening are available through the Wellness Package, which is designed to check baseline health. It includes a GP consultation with physical examination, a Kardia 6 lead ECG tracing, urinalysis, an extensive blood panel and a GP follow-up.

SLM GP also offers a Weight Package for weight management queries, including consideration of GLP-1 prescriptions where clinically appropriate. This includes a GP consultation with physical examination, a blood panel and follow-up.

The practice uses a secure electronic health record and does not have access to your NHS GP notes, although information from the NHS app can be used during a consultation if you have it. If a prescription is recommended, it can be issued electronically for collection at any pharmacy.
