Mr Andy Killen
About Mr Andy Killen
Andy Killen works with people with musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation needs, including complex, multi-system presentations and people with multiple medical considerations. His approach considers how your movement, wider health history, work, family roles, hobbies, confidence and identity may affect rehabilitation planning.
He is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor, with APPI level one and two matwork qualification. His NHS experience includes primary care musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy, specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation, community stroke and neuro rehabilitation teams, orthopaedic outpatient services, and spinal, major trauma and complex elective orthopaedic wards.
Andy describes his approach as calm and realistic, informed by his own experience of ongoing pain and fatigue, including Morton’s neuroma, sesamoiditis and post-viral symptoms. He understands that pacing and load management can be difficult in real life, especially alongside work, family and other responsibilities.
