STAR Clinic

STAR Clinic provides sports therapy and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries, with appointments for initial consultation and treatment and follow-up treatment. Care covers injury treatment, sports massage and pre-event massage for people in the general public as well as recreational and elite athletes.

Injury treatment can include rehabilitation work using sports massage, mobilisations, taping and strapping. The clinic also provides exercise therapy and rehabilitation programmes, with sports massage available for specific areas of tension or as a full-body session.

Pre-event massage is offered for athletes before an event or a heavy training session. Sports massage is also used for people managing stiffness, pain or muscle tension, with treatment frequency discussed according to individual needs and goals.

STAR Clinic is based in Packington, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and operates from a home clinic. The exact location is shared after the necessary online forms have been completed.

The clinician has completed a BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Therapy degree at Loughborough University and previously completed a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy. STAR Clinic is registered with the Sports Therapy Association for treatment from the home clinic.
