Susan Adams Acupuncture

Susan Adams Acupuncture operates from one site at Adams Wellness Ltd in Woking, providing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for adults and children. Susan Adams is an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist whose practice is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, including tongue and pulse diagnosis.

The practice offers acupuncture appointments, IVF transfer acupuncture, acupuncture for labour induction, paediatric appointments and supervision for practitioners. Susan also provides practitioner support for acupuncturists.

Chinese herbal medicine is part of the practice. Susan is a member of the Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners, which qualifies her to prescribe herbs, and she uses Phoenix Medical for herbal prescriptions. She can carry out Chinese Medicine diagnoses remotely or in person. In her herbal practice, she specialises in skin conditions and regulating menstrual cycles, and may recommend recipes, simple home-made teas and everyday cooking ingredients used in Chinese herbal medicine.

Her training includes a BSc in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, study in the UK and Tokyo, and further training across Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tui Na, Chinese Medicine diagnostics, gynaecology in TCM, male subfertility, IVF, fertility, obstetrics, endometriosis, PCOS, menopause, paediatric Tui Na, Shonishin acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, hormone testing, autoimmune disease and inflammation, sports taping, Chinese herbal medicine and supervision for acupuncturists.

Susan is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. She has been living and working in Woking since 2003, and describes her treatment space there as a clinic setting for acupuncture and related Chinese Medicine care.
