Sussex Scar & Lymphatic Therapy is based in Burgess Hill and has one site. Anne Lewis provides scar therapy, manual lymphatic drainage and manual therapy for post-surgery recovery, scars, swelling, stiffness, pain and restricted movement.

Care areas include post-surgery recovery, scar therapy, lymphatic drainage, pain relief and musculoskeletal therapy, and health and wellbeing. Anne works with people recovering after surgery, people with long-term scars, and people with neck, back and shoulder pain, inflammation in muscles, tendons or joints, and musculoskeletal pain linked to scar tissue.

Post-surgery support includes work after C-sections, joint replacements, fracture repairs, breast surgery, appendix removal and hernia repairs. Scar therapy and manual lymphatic drainage are used for swelling, discomfort, stiffness, mobility and the comfort and appearance of surgical scars.

Anne is a scar and manual lymphatic drainage practitioner with over 20 years' experience in health, fitness and recovery. Her background includes support for Olympic athletes at London 2012, new mothers healing from C-sections, and patients after major surgery. She has training in scar therapy, lymphatic drainage and manual therapy.

Treatment plans are tailored to each client, with advice and packages based on surgery, symptoms and frequency of care needed. The practice does not treat people with active cancer, but can support people who are in recovery.
