Dr Richard Kahan

Dr Richard Kahan helps patients who need endodontic care, with a focus on saving teeth. His work is centred on treatment inside the tooth, and he has a particular interest in how technology can be used in endodontics.

His MSc work involved designing and building a red and infra-red probe to help detect blood flow in a tooth, described in the source as an important diagnostic test in endodontics. He has also developed clinical notes software used at the Academy.

He is Clinical Director at The Harley Street Academy of Advanced Endodontics. He previously worked in private endodontic practice and held roles at Eastman UCL, including clinical lecturer and head of endodontic continuing professional development.
