Dr Rupert Pemsel

Dr Rupert Pemsel is a GP specialising in dermatology and complex care. He assesses and treats skin concerns including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and other rashes, as well as moles, changing lesions, lumps, bumps and benign lesions such as warts, verrucae, skin tags and milia. He uses dermatoscope examination where helpful, offers mole mapping to monitor moles and skin lesions over time, and may use CryoPen® treatment for suitable benign lesions.

He also manages patients with multiple medical conditions and complex health needs. For joint pain and stiffness, he assesses problems including trigger finger, carpal tunnel, De Quervain's tenosynovitis, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, rotator cuff problems, frozen shoulder, knee osteoarthritis and trochanteric bursitis. Treatment may include steroid or Durolane® joint injections where clinically suitable.
