The Nurse Clinic

Adult ear wax removal is a core service at The Nurse Clinic, for one or both ears, with ear examinations and children’s ear wax removal also available for ages 3 to 18. Ear care includes microsuction, irrigation, consultations for ear conditions, fungal ear infection, ear swabs where booked, removal of a simple foreign body in the ear, and private prescriptions where included with the appointment type.

The clinic also provides private urgent care assessments and consultations for specific minor illness concerns, including sore throat, UTI or cystitis, skin infection, cough or chest infection, sinusitis, acne and fever in children. All consultations are face to face with Donna Dady, an Advanced Nurse Specialist and Independent Nurse Prescriber.

Skin services include skin lesion assessment with dermoscopy, cryotherapy, mole removal, cyst removal, abscess incision and drainage, lipoma removal, dermatofibroma removal, pyogenic granuloma removal, wart, verruca and skin tag removal, milia, cherry angioma, seborrhoeic keratosis, actinic keratosis, solar lentigo, sebaceous hyperplasia, molluscum contagiosum and giant comedone removal. Treatment is also listed for facial thread veins, hyperhidrosis and lesions around the eyelids or eye area.

Contraception services include contraceptive implant insertion, removal and replacement, Depo Provera contraceptive injection, coil removal, emergency contraception and postponement of menstruation consultations. The clinic also offers B12 injections, vitamin D injection and testing, vitamin B complex injections or infusions, glutathione infusions, vitamin C infusion and other IV vitamin appointments.

Wound care covers removal of sutures, stitches or clips, review of post-operative wounds, trauma or burns dressings, and dressing review or replacement after cosmetic surgery. Donna’s background includes GP practice, urgent care, work with adults and children, minor illness, asthma, CHD, coil and implant fittings, ear wax microsuction and irrigation, hyperhidrosis treatment, IV vitamin drip administration, cryotherapy, dermoscopy and minor surgery skills.

The Nurse Clinic is in Newport Pagnell. Donna Dady has been registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council since 1996, and the clinic has been registered and regulated with the Care Quality Commission since 2022.
