The Orchard Clinic

The Orchard Clinic treats chronic pain and discomfort through osteopathy, including back pain, neck pain, head discomfort and joint pain. The multi-disciplinary clinic is near Reading and also offers cranial osteopathy, physiotherapy, massage, podiatry and chiropody, reflexology, clinical hypnotherapy, wellbeing coaching, acupuncture and homeopathy.

Osteopathy at the clinic focuses on the musculoskeletal system, including bones, muscles and joints. The osteopathy process described by the clinic includes taking a medical history, asking about lifestyle, symptoms and general health, then examining posture, movement and tissue condition. Manual techniques may include soft tissue manipulation, articulation, high-velocity low-amplitude thrusts, muscle energy technique and lymphatic pumping.

Podiatry and chiropody appointments are available, including diabetic foot screen and treatment appointments. The clinic also offers acupuncture, cupping and gua sha appointments, as well as massage appointments.

Wellbeing coaching is available in person and by telehealth. Clinical hypnotherapy is offered for stress, anxiety, addictions, pain management and positive life resets. The wider therapies available at the clinic include physiotherapy, reflexology and homeopathy.
