The Pelvic Academy is for people seeking pelvic health physiotherapy and related wellness care in North London. Initial Pregnancy Appointments cover pelvic floor assessment, birth preparation and pregnancy-related pain. Initial Postnatal Physiotherapy Sessions, also called a postnatal MOT, review abdominal muscles and any abdominal gap, pelvic floor muscles, scar assessment and postnatal rehabilitation advice.

Female Pelvic Health Initial Sessions cover prolapse, menopause, bladder symptoms, bowel symptoms, pelvic pain, tailbone pain, hip pain, lower back pain and pelvic pain after gynaecological surgery such as hysterectomy, laparoscopy or prolapse repair. The clinic also sees pelvic pain associated with endometriosis, adenomyosis, vaginismus and vulvodynia. A separate Initial Pelvic Health Appointment for Sexual Pain is available for pain associated with sexual activity, including vaginismus and vulvodynia.

Male Pelvic Health Initial Appointments are for male clients with pelvic pain, symptoms after prostate surgery, and issues affecting the bladder, bowels or sexual function. Follow-up sessions are available after an initial appointment.

Postnatal scar care includes C-section scar assessment within postnatal physiotherapy and separate scar massage with massage therapist Naomi once the scar has fully healed. Massage services include pregnancy massage, postnatal massage, postnatal massage with C-section scar massage, scar massage, and restorative or deep tissue massage.

The wider clinical and wellness offer includes 1-1 strength and fitness sessions in a purpose built gym. Naomi works with women during pregnancy, after birth and around menopause, with sessions focused on pelvic floor friendly fitness. Prolapse care includes pessary fitting with Niamh.
