True Axis

Chiropractic at True Axis Ltd is for assessment and management of muscle, joint and spine problems, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica and joint stiffness. The clinic is based in Askern, near Doncaster.

Care starts with a detailed case history and physical examination. Treatment may include spinal manipulation, soft tissue work, rehabilitation exercises, postural advice and patient education, depending on the person and the presentation.

The clinical areas covered include back pain, neck pain, headaches including cervicogenic headache, migraines, sciatica, pins and needles, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, sports injuries, acute injuries, overuse complaints, postural concerns and restricted movement. True Axis also sees people who are not in pain but want to understand how their body is moving.

The chiropractor is Mr Salvador Fite. He graduated from Teesside University with a Master’s in Chiropractic, including a final year working with patients in a supervised clinical setting. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

A GP referral is not needed. The first appointment includes assessment, explanation of findings and discussion of treatment options. Follow-up care may include progress review, chiropractic treatment, rehabilitation advice and an ongoing management plan where appropriate.
