Vanessa Evans Acupuncture offers in-person acupuncture at Thames-side Studios in London. You can book an Initial Consultation + Treatment or a Follow Up Appointment.

Care is centred on acupuncture within Chinese Medicine, using fine needles with the aim of working with the flow of Qi through the body. Treatment may also include moxibustion with Chinese mugwort, gua sha, electroacupuncture or palpation, with the approach explained during the appointment.

The practice names acupuncture support for IVF, fertility, pregnancy, headaches and migraines, sleep and digestive issues, pain and injuries. Pregnancy related areas include morning sickness, induction of labour and malposition of fetus. Women's health areas include dysmenorrhoea, menstrual problems and menopausal symptoms.

Pain related areas include back pain, lower back pain, neck pain, knee pain, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, periarthritis of the shoulder, facial pain, dental pain, postoperative pain, pain management and sports injuries. Other areas listed include allergies and intolerances, allergic rhinitis including hay fever, acne, anxiety, depression, stress, emotional disturbances, nausea and vomiting, hypertension, hypotension, cancer support, adverse reactions to radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy, leukopenia, biliary colic, renal colic, scarring and addiction.

At a first visit, Vanessa asks in-depth questions about your reason for seeking acupuncture, as well as your general health, wellbeing and history. Before treatment, the practice advises eating a light meal a couple of hours beforehand and wearing loose, comfortable clothing that can be pulled up at the elbows and knees.

The clinic is on the first floor at Thames-side Studios and is not wheelchair accessible.
