West Grove Dental has one practice site in Roath, Cardiff. It provides private dental care across routine dentistry, hygiene, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign, sedation, composite bonding, wisdom teeth surgical extraction and facial aesthetics.

Routine dental care includes dental examinations, while hygiene appointments focus on plaque deposits, staining and gum health. Hygienist treatment may include scaling with handheld instruments and an ultrasonic scaler, polishing and, where used, air polishing. The practice also gives personalised care plans covering diet and preventive habits to help reduce the risk of tooth decay and gum disease.

Cosmetic and restorative treatments include porcelain veneers, composite bonding, crowns, bridges, implants and tooth whitening. For missing teeth, the practice provides dentures, bridges and dental implants. Invisalign clear aligners are offered for people who want to straighten the alignment of their teeth.

The team is trained to help people with dental phobia, and West Grove Dental has been Dental Phobia Certified since 2014. Sedation is available in-house for patients who want it. Wisdom teeth services include surgical extraction, and the team includes an oral surgery specialist.

West Grove Dental was formerly known as Nicola Taaffe at West Grove. Direct Access hygienist appointments are available, so patients can see a hygienist without seeing a dentist first and without registering with the practice. Direct Access appointments are for cosmetic cleaning and do not replace a dental examination.
