Yorkshire Ear Clinic
About Yorkshire Ear Clinic
Yorkshire Ear Clinic is for adults and children seeking private hearing care, including ear wax removal, hearing health checks, audiology consultations and paediatric hearing assessments. The clinic also offers hearing aid dispensing, tinnitus management, counselling and education, onward referral, private prescription requests and ear impressions.
Ear wax removal is carried out using microsuction for a build-up of excess earwax in the ear canal. Audiology appointments include hearing assessments and diagnostic checks, with audiological consultation including tympanometry and sensitivity tests where appropriate.
Care is provided by Zanib Iqbal, a registered Clinical Senior Audiologist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Audiology with honours from the University of Leeds in 2013, received an AIM award for academic work, and is registered as a Clinical Physiologist with the Academy for Healthcare Science and as an Audiologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Zanib's clinical work covers ear wax removal, adult and paediatric diagnostics, hearing health checks and tinnitus management. Her experience includes work in public and private healthcare, Dewsbury District Trust, UKAS assessment for NHS audiology services, and working alongside GPs and ENT consultants. She has also undertaken training with the Ida Institute for person centred care.
Yorkshire Ear Clinic sees patients in person in Knaresborough and also offers home visits. If further care is needed, the clinic can support onward referral.
