About Dr Nicky Friedland (CST)

Nicky Friedland offers craniosacral therapy for clients of all ages, with postgraduate training that includes working with babies and children. She offers it as a gentle, supportive therapy that may help people feel calmer, more energised, and better able to manage physical or emotional challenges. She does not use craniosacral therapy for medical diagnosis.

Nicky trained in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at the Karuna Institute in Devon and has practised since 2008. She also has a background as a medical doctor and NHS psychiatrist, with experience in child and adolescent mental health, young people with eating disorders, and two years of training in Family/Systemic Therapy.

Her earlier medical work in obstetrics and gynaecology, including antenatal care and assisting at births, informs her understanding of the birth process and how it may affect newborns.
