Dr Piya Sen Gupta

Dr Piya Sen Gupta sees adults with diabetes and endocrine concerns, including obesity or weight gain, type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, thyroid problems, PCOS, fatigue, female hormone imbalance, abnormal blood tests and high blood pressure. She is a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology and the founder of EndoWell.

Her approach includes the use of technology where appropriate, including continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) to guide treatment changes in diabetes. She uses evidence-based treatments and shared decision making, including non-medication approaches where suitable and medication approaches.

Dr Sen Gupta has particular experience in gut hormone-based therapies and endoscopic treatments for diabesity, the topic of her PhD. Her NHS base is at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, London.
