About Dr Ian Ramsay
Dr Ian Ramsay performs aviation medical examinations for pilots and other aviation licence holders. He is qualified to perform UK CAA medicals and can undertake all classes of FAA medical, including First Class initials. He also offers support and consultation on medical aspects that may have an impact on a flying licence.
He has conducted CAA medical examinations for over 30 years and has served as an FAA Senior Medical Examiner since 1996. He retired from NHS practice in June 2012 to focus on aviation medicine.
