Physiotherapy is the main service at Jesmond Physiotherapy, for people with neuromusculoskeletal problems, sports injuries and symptoms affecting movement, strength, posture or function. Appointments include discussion of symptoms and goals, followed by physical assessment that may look at posture, joint range of movement, muscle tone, muscle length and strength, and, where relevant, reflexes and sensation.

Physiotherapy treatment may use hands-on manual therapy alongside progressive exercise therapy, with stated treatment approaches including joint mobilisation and manipulation, specific soft tissue mobilisation, neural mobilisation and exercise-based rehabilitation.
