Physiotherapy is the main service at Jesmond Physiotherapy, for people with neuromusculoskeletal problems, sports injuries and symptoms affecting movement, strength, posture or function. Appointments include discussion of symptoms and goals, followed by physical assessment that may look at posture, joint range of movement, muscle tone, muscle length and strength, and, where relevant, reflexes and sensation.

The practice provides physiotherapy, Pilates, sports injury care, acupuncture, sports massage, and diet and nutrition services. Physiotherapy treatment may use hands-on manual therapy alongside progressive exercise therapy, with stated treatment approaches including joint mobilisation and manipulation, specific soft tissue mobilisation, neural mobilisation and exercise-based rehabilitation.

Acupuncture is available as an adjunct to physiotherapy or as a course of treatment on its own, usually for pain relief. The practice also works with clients ranging from athletes to older adults, within the physiotherapy and sports injury services it describes.

Jesmond Physiotherapy works from Ear Wax Jesmond Clinic, Great Park Clinic, Jesmond Clinic, all in Newcastle upon Tyne, and Sterling Pharma Solutions Limited in Cramlington. Great Park Clinic has private treatment rooms and free on-site parking.

Its physiotherapists are educated to at least degree level and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council. The practice is registered with major private medical insurance providers.
