About Amy Cotterell
Amy Cotterell helps patients of all ages at Oban Osteopathy, including babies, children, expectant mothers, older people and infirm patients. She has worked in clinics treating children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, and has a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy from the Sutherland Cranial College.
Amy is also a qualified Sports Injuries and Massage Therapist, with training in strapping and taping for sports injuries. She has treated participants at events including the London Marathon, Great North Run, Iron Man UK triathlon, and walking and cycling events.
Her approach includes taking time to understand a patient’s symptoms, medical history and lifestyle, then using this to make a diagnosis of the factors contributing to their symptoms and to formulate a treatment plan. She graduated with distinction from the British School of Osteopathy in 2011 and has completed postgraduate training in Cranial Osteopathy with the Sutherland Cranial College.
