Paula dos Santos Osteopathy provides osteopathic care in London for pain, mobility and wellbeing. Paula works with discomfort and movement restriction, including back or neck discomfort, joint pain in areas such as the hip, knee, shoulder, ankle and elbow, tension headaches linked to the neck or jaw, muscle tightness or soreness, restricted or painful movement, and postural strain from sitting or repetitive work.

Appointments include initial consultations and follow-up treatments. An initial consultation includes a full medical history, postural and movement assessment, and hands-on treatment. Treatment may include soft tissue work, mobilisation, articulation and, where appropriate, manipulation, also called HVT. Exercises or movement guidance may be included where helpful. Follow-up appointments continue the treatment plan using manual techniques and movement-based approaches.

The practice also supports people with stiffness, difficulty with certain movements, returning to activity or sport, posture and confidence with movement, and staying active and independent with age. Paula’s background includes Pilates, functional movement and hands-on therapy, and her osteopathic approach considers how the body moves and functions as a whole.

Paula dos Santos is a registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council, registration number 11884. She holds an M.Ost, DO and ND, with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also has more than 25 years’ background as a fitness professional.

Care is provided in clinic, and the practice’s terms also refer to home visits. Clinical records are kept in accordance with GOsC and GDPR requirements.
