Jo Burchell provides sports and remedial massage therapy for people with sports injuries, chronic pain, muscular tension, stiffness, postural aches, reduced mobility and tightness from everyday life or work. Specific treatments include sports massage, relaxation massage, manual lymphatic drainage, Brazilian lymphatic drainage, oncology massage and natural face lift massage. Sports massage can focus on particular areas of tension, activity recovery, maintenance for active lifestyles, persistent discomfort, mobility and specific injuries. Relaxation massage is a gentle therapeutic option for stress, tiredness and general time out.

Manual lymphatic drainage uses light, rhythmic techniques to support the natural movement of lymph. Brazilian lymphatic drainage uses a different, more sculpting-focused technique and treatment goal. Natural face lift massage works across the face, jaw, neck and scalp, using facial massage techniques linked with blood flow, lymphatic drainage and relaxation.

Oncology massage is for people living with or beyond cancer. Sessions use gentle, adaptive techniques and take account of diagnosis, treatment, medical history and how the client is feeling on the day. New oncology massage clients can have a video consultation before treatment.

Care is provided in clinic, at home or on location. Home visits are available on application, subject to checks and right of refusal. Corporate visits are available for businesses and on-site event support, including film and TV sets.
