Mrs Shirley McDonald

Mrs Shirley McDonald helps with scalp and hair-related concerns, including alopecia, dandruff, psoriasis, genetic hair loss and diffuse hair loss. She works with all hair types, including Afro hair, and takes a holistic trichology approach that considers lifestyle, diet and haircare.

She is a registered trichologist, Fellow of the Institute of Trichologists, and has over 30 years of experience in the hair care industry. In 2023, she was recognised with a fellowship from the Institute of Trichologists for her research on scarring hair loss. She is also a clinical tutor for the Institute of Trichologists and a biomedical PhD research student at the University of West London, focusing on person-centred health.
